Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. I am Dorothy, and I make a mess in my mess. Get it!

 If you do, you are in the right place. I am an avid baker, I am addicted to canning, and I enjoy cooking. If you have guessed yet, I love food. I love to prepare and study food. I am also an anglophile who loves to have afternoon tea. In short, I am a food geek.  I have recipes, ideas, and inspiration from other blogs, websites, cooking shows, and books. So after years of posting my creations on social media. As well as having many friends, family and neighbors ask me about my cooking adventures. I  have decided to blog about my experiences in my kitchen or mess.  If you have not guessed, I make a mess. I make mistakes and get frustrated. But when it comes out, right!. It is the best feeling in the world!

My methodology is simple. I will document how I make my cooking project of the day; I will go through step by step with all my mistakes along the way. I will give you a verdict on the recipe. 

I want to encourage people to explore baking, canning, and cooking. But it can get messy and hard. But it is so rewarding the first time you get it right. Just make a mess in your mess!
